Sri Ramayanam

The Supreme being is known by Vedas. When He incarnated as the scion of Dasaratha’s clan, Vedas personified as Sri Ramayana. It is the essence of mantras like Astakshari and Gayathri. The Tathva thraya and Artha panchaka are also embedded in this Epic. The other name for this Epic is Saranagati Sastra. The Vaishnava Philosophy is protected by the Fortresses called Divya Prabandham and Sri Ramayanam. Sri Rama and Sri Krishna are the Purana Avataras of the Lord.
