Thirumaalai Thirupallaiyzhuchi

Those who know not Thirumalai (the epic of Azhwar) will not know Thirumal (the Supreme Being) goes the saying. Thondaradi Podi Azhwar sang the Divya Prabandham Thirumalai of 45 stanzas. In this, Azhwar describes the beauty of Sri Ranganatha, the qualities of devotees and the benefits of chanting the names of the Lord (Nama Sankirtanam). Thirupathi Ezhuchi is the awakening song of Sri Ranganatha. In this Prabandham, Azhwar shows that Devas, Yakshas, Kinnaras and Gandharvas crave to be graced by the Lord’s divine look.
