Kanchipuram is one of the seven divine places which can give Moksha to a soul. Kooram is near to Kanchipuram. As the name suggests Sri. Koorathazhwan is the native of this place. He is a saintly personality devoid of the ahankara of high birth, Knowledge and oppulance. He sacrificed his eye sight for the sake of his Acharya Sri. Ramanuja. He is most prominent among the disciples of Ramanuja. He has practically shown that Moksha is possible only by devotion to Acharya. He has adorned the Veda matha with the precious jewel i.e. Mangalasutra in the form of five sthothras. From the treatises of Divya Prabandham, Guruparampara, Prapannamrutham and vaarthamala (the chronological utterances of Acharyas) We get to know about this great
Acharya by listening the CD.
